Nate is well on his way to a career in politics: class president of the student council, captain and state champion for student congress, captain and national qualifier for the speech team, and captain and state champion for the debate team. He served as a Class A Representative of North Dakota Student Councils. He was a founding member of his school’s LEO Club, and was instrumental in a number of collection drives to support the community. A scholar athlete, Nate was both varsity tennis captain and a regional and state star for choir. Most dear to Nate, he was the founder of an organization called Quilt for Cure, which makes fleece-tie blankets for cancer patients. Over four years, the organization has delivered hundreds of blankets to patients across the Midwest. From Fargo, N.D., Nate will attend North Dakota State University in the fall.
