Named one of New Orleans’ Best 40 Under 40 for her work founding Angelica’s Angels, this next Scholar turned her passion for golf into a service effort. Through her organization – which will be expanding to additional under served schools – she teaches younger students healthy eating habits, teamwork, and golf skills. As a result of this program and her additional volunteer efforts as a tutor and for a childcare center, Angelica desires to become an advocate for the disabled. Captain of the golf team, she has received numerous awards and distinctions within the sport. Angelica also served as president of the broadcasting club, vice president of the National Honor Society, and secretary of the Green Society. From New Orleans, La., Angelica will attend Washington University in St. Louis in the fall.
