Dedication is just one word to describe Peyton. Nearly across the board, Peyton devoted her entire high school career to numerous extracurricular activities. Not only that, she played a significant leadership role in most of those activities, including serving as a regional president for the student council, chapter officer for Future Farmers of America, and president of her 4H club. In athletics, Peyton brought her leadership to the volleyball court and the golf course, serving as captain of each team. Peyton also excelled in the arts, serving as clarinet section leader for the varsity band, soprano section leader for the varsity choir, and assistant director for the drama club. She balanced these activities with a slew of service opportunities and part-time employment – many of which honor and support her rural community. From Philip, S.D., Peyton will attend South Dakota State University in the fall where she will study agricultural education and agricultural communications.
