Mabel Wong

Mabel's approach to leadership is about giving back, as she has been the recipient of the selfless generosity of others. She has extended her own skill and passion for the game of golf by teaching lessons to underprivileged youth and helping to set up tournaments through The First Tee program and the Junior Golf Association of Northern California. She also founded a ping pong club to give her classmates an alternative to idle time after school. Mabel also serves as president of Students In Action, which gives ant-bullying and ant-violence presentations. She also serves as president of the Service club and a member of the Model United Nations team. Mabel balances these activities and service roles while being employed part time and helping within her family as it faces health and financial difficulties. From Oakdale, Calif., Mabel will study data sciences at the University of San Francisco in the fall.
