As is often the case, early childhood experiences, coupled with one’s nature, determine who we become. Ysabella’s childhood, plus her integrity, leadership skills, and sense of responsibility have molded her into a responsible leader who volunteers as a co-teacher to first grade Sunday school students, is a concert choir performer, has a black belt in karate, and is a freelance artist. Being an organizational director for her church’s youth evangelization team brings her great joy. “Although it’s like organizing a Gatsby party, I look forward to putting on future events!” Ysabella is also passionate about overseas relations, particularly in East Asia. She spent a year in Japan, learning the language and the customs and ways of its people, leading her to choose International Business as a major in college, so she can do her part to give a positive global impact and allow her to travel once she earns her degree. Ysabella is from Andover, MN, and plans to attend University of Wisconsin: Madison in the fall.
