Juliana’s list of achievements is impressive: she has served as President of the National Honor Society, was named a Defensive MVP for her soccer team, received 9 Varsity Letters and a spot on the Wall of Fame, and received the US Congressional Award Silver and Bronze medals for her more than 400 hours of service, among many others. However, her true passion lies with helping underprivileged children and their families. To that end, Juliana is actively involved with Ambridge Center for Hope, where she helped instill values such as healthy eating, exercise, and hard work in school to children. She organizes and facilitates an annual family carnival for this community, and a Santa’s Shop to teach children to give back to their community. With a dream to start a nonprofit organization focusing on improving child literacy, Juliana will no doubt make a significant and positive impact on the children she serves. From Coraopolis, PA, Juliana plans to pursue a degree in Education and Human Psychology at Cornell University this fall.
