“Throughout my life I have been told that one will never truly be happy until he or she plays a role improving the lives of others.” Jaime has taken this advice to heart, committing herself to a lifetime of service to others in need. She spearheaded a shoe collection project with Soles4Souls, an organization that collects and distributes shoes to those affected by poverty or disasters. She also pledged to run a mile for every three pairs of shoes donated as another way to use her own soles for other souls. Jaime also instituted a plastic bottle recycling program as part of a team at her school to successfully reduce the trash footprint in her town and has acted in a DocuDrama as a drunk driver who killed her friends in order to discourage sophomores from irresponsibility while driving a motor vehicle. Jaime plans to pay for college and living expenses herself and has worked two part-time jobs throughout high school towards this end. Jaime grew up on a farm and intends to have a career that reflects this. She is from Stanberry, MO and will major in Agricultural Economics with a minor in international Agriculture at the University of Missouri: Columbia.
