Jacob Ian Rey

At school, Jacob has served as President of the following: Skills USA, Business Professionals of America, National Honor Society, Student Council, and Teens for the Cure. The last of these was founded by Jacob after a family member was diagnosed with breast cancer. With the help of a Susan G. Komen affiliate coordinator, he set up the club and has been tirelessly working to raise teen awareness about early detection ever since. “I also would like to continue involvement with the Susan G. Komen foundation past my high school career by starting a fund that will help low- income women have access to mammograms.” Another passion of Jacob’s is computer engineering, and he has been providing computer troubleshooting and repair services to his community and taught classes to help those more unfamiliar with computers. Jacob hails from El Paso, TX and plans to attend University of Southern California this fall.
