Elizabeth Kay Widder

“Service work has always been a part of my life.” Elizabeth has exemplified service via her involvement as an officer of her school’s 4H Club and National FFA chapter, a 4H Ambassador, a camp counselor, a Vacation Bible School Teacher, Student Council, class officer, and JV Captain of her school’s soccer team. One of her favorite experiences was as a 4H Camp Cabin Counselor for three years, where she positively and directly impacted the lives of girls from grades four to eight. She found to her pleasure and surprise that her connections with the kids extended far beyond the duration of the camp itself. Elizabeth also served on the student council for four years, helping students get their voices heard and working with administrators, staff and teachers towards solutions. She plans to earn her undergraduate degree in Agronomy. Elizabeth hails from Sheboygan Falls, WI and will attend Iowa State University in the fall.
