Jesse Davison

Jesse’s empathy and awareness led him to respond in a big way to victims of the deadly 2011 tornado in Joplin, Missouri. At Christmastime, he organized “Jingles for Joplin,” and delivered an entire trailer of items collected to the Salvation Army in Joplin. After the devastation continued to stir within him, Jesse launched Teens for Jeans, a rally to collect jeans for homeless youth in his own community. At school, Jesse was active on student council, in the math and science clubs, on the golf team, and with Future Business Leaders of America. Beyond that, he has not missed a single day of school since kindergarten. From Vanzant, Missouri, Jesse will be pre-med at the University of Missouri in the fall.
