Tam Minh Le

During her junior year, Minh founded and helped organize Sounds of Sympathy, a charity concert now held annually at her school to benefit a different charity organization each year, including the Iowa Homeless Youth Center and the Grameen Foundation. Additionally, she was the President of Model United Nations where she planned, researched and prepared the team for the Model UN Conference. For the last two years, she read the local newspaper over a radio station that broadcasts for the blind. Ranked #1 at her school, Minh, who is from Des Moines, IA, plans to attend Carnegie Mellon University.
