Kenia Lucey

Kenia was the founder of the University High School Penguin to Penguin Mentoring Program that pairs incoming freshmen with upperclassmen to help them successfully transition into the school. Additionally, she participated in Mock Trial all four years, helping lead her team to a top four ranking in the state each year. When she was elected President of Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council, Kenia galvanized support from the representatives from the different high schools and incorporated community service. She has been active in sports, playing on the JV/Varsity Basketball team all four years. Kenia, who is from Tucson, AZ, has 30 Honors and 23 AP classes to her credit and plans to attend Harvard University.
