David Schumacher

David’s exceptional problem-solving skills, knowledge base, and creative, logical mind have helped him build and lead the Academic U.I.L. Math and Science Teams to their top three rankings in their district. As the Co-Captain of his school’s team for the KEDT- TV “Challenge!” Academic Tournament, his team reached the 2011 Championship game. As an Eagle Scout, David organized, supervised, and led the construction of a sandbox, sandbox cover, roof and murals in the daycare area of his church. Ranked #1 at his school, David, who is from Corpus Christi, TX, plans to attend Rice University.
