The University Internship is an unpaid internship that offers the intern a training program as well as opportunities to work at events and network with professionals. We strive to design an experience where students develop knowledge and skills to be successful in a professional workplace. The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute is a unique work environment that can expose interns to a variety of fields including event planning, civic engagement, education, marketing, communications, and non-profit development to name a few. As an intern, you will work and gain authentic experience in a world class organization and high paced office environment.You will have the unique opportunity to work with like-minded peers from a variety of majors and backgrounds, and be part of collaborative team, providing you with real-world work projects and experiences. Ideal candidates are those who present themselves as professionals with a willing attitude and ability to take initiative in projects.
Internship program highlights include:
- 8-10 weeks of working onsite at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.
- Hands-on projects tailored to your interests and skillsets.
- Mentor sessions with top senior executives from the Reagan Foundation and Institute.
- Professional development workshops on networking, resume writing, and work style assessments.
Fulfillment of this internship includes a minimum 120-hour commitment as well completion of projects.
