Kathleen Swift is the Chief Commercial Officer for the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute and is responsible for the commercial strategy, development and management of the Foundation’s Visitor Services operation, Museum Store and web retail operations, Facility Rental business, Event Group logistics and operations, and contracted catering and souvenir photo services.
Ms. Swift joined the Foundation in September 2007 as Director of Retail and Business Development, with considerable previous experience in high profile venue businesses, which included several years with the Walt Disney Company working in various roles with Disney Consumer Products, Anaheim Sports, and the Walt Disney Theatrical Group. With these assignments, Ms. Swift was responsible for marketing, sales, product development and customer service with the stadium and venue retail business at The Los Angeles Dodgers, The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, the Anaheim Angels, and the world wide Lion King theatrical business. In addition, Ms. Swift served as Director of Merchandising for Lakeshore Learning Materials immediately prior to joining the Foundation.
Ms. Swift began her career with Younkers Department Store in Des Moines, Iowa, and worked in a variety of roles prior to her arrival in Southern California in 1994. Ms. Swift holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from Wartburg College in Iowa.
