Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute (RRPFI) is a nonprofit, non-partisan organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the legacy of Ronald Reagan and his timeless principles of individual liberty, economic opportunity, global democracy, and national pride.  It sustains the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, the Ronald Reagan Institute, the Reagan Center for Public Affairs, the Walter and Leonore Annenberg Presidential Learning Center, The Air Force One Pavilion and the award-winning Air Force One Discovery Center.  Located in Simi Valley, California the Library houses over 55 million pages of Gubernatorial, Presidential and personal papers and over 60,000 gifts and artifacts chronicling the lives of Ronald and Nancy Reagan. The Reagan Library also serves as the final resting place of America’s 40th President and his first lady.


Position Available

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation is seeking a Museum Store E-Commerce Coordinator to support the Museum Store retail website and Amazon store. We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter, able to multitask, dependable, and open to direction. This position will be responsible for growing our brand and on-line Sales revenue. He/she will work closely with and report to the Director of Retail Operations to create engaging content that will promote and sell our Ronald Reagan Museum Store products. The Foundation and Library is a fast-paced and demanding environment.  The successful candidate will be willing to roll up his/her sleeves to do the work in support of the retail team.  


  1. High School diploma (or equivalent) required.
  2. Demonstrated good communication skills – both written and verbal.
  3. Strong user of computers as a work tool and skills in all Microsoft Office, Photo Shop, Google Suites, and Adobe Creative Suite programs required. Experience with Microsoft Retail Management System (RMS), and UPS World Ship a plus.
  4. Experience with promoting Ecommerce through Social Media preferred.
  5. Revise, edit, and proofread all current on-line Museum Store descriptions and content as needed.
  6. Experience taking professional quality product photographs, sizing and editing as required for ECommerce stores.
  7. Ability to take product videos and download them as required.
  8. Work with the Graphics department on developing a quarterly digital product catalog and email blasts.
  9. Solid understanding of S.E.O. concepts.
  10. Add keywords and related product suggestions for each item.
  11. Actively engage with the team to promote Aged, Slow, and new SKUs.
  12. Must have a general understanding of Amazon Seller Central marketplace.
  13. Create and maintain monthly sales reports to show growth of marketplaces, the impact of marketing, and analytics of channels.
  14. Solid math skills required.
  15. Able to lift medium-sized freight of up 50 pounds; able to access storage shelves on ladder/stool; able to stand for extended periods of time; and, able to kneel, reach, stoop, and pull in pursuit of incoming/outgoing product organization.
  16. Good time management skills, including flexibility, punctuality, reliability, and adaptability.
  17. Excellent customer service skills necessary.
  18. Must be able to work independently and collaborate with a team.
  19. Experience with problem analysis, assessment prioritizing and problem solving.
  20. Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays for special events, including but not limited to the Reagan National Defense Forum that occurs annually in late November/early December.

Salary and Benefits

This is a non-exempt regular part-time position, located at The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute in Simi Valley, California.  This position will be compensated on an hourly basis and will be eligible for overtime; hourly rate will be commensurate with experience.  This position offers Paid Time Off (PTO) benefits based on hours accrued per pay period and years of service.  Employees have the opportunity to participate in a retirement program.
