The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute is the nonprofit organization created by President Reagan himself and specifically charged by him with continuing his legacy and sharing his principles - individual liberty, economic opportunity, global democracy and national pride. The Foundation is a non-partisan organization which sustains the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, CA, the Reagan Center for Public Affairs, the Presidential Learning Center, The Air Force One Pavilion and the award-winning Discovery Center, as well as the Reagan Institute, which promotes President Reagan’s legacy in Washington, DC. 

The Reagan Library houses over 60 million pages of Gubernatorial, Presidential and personal papers, over 1.6 million photographs, a half million feet of motion picture film, 25,000 audio recordings, 22,000 video recordings, and over 83,000 objects chronicling the lives of Ronald and Nancy Reagan.  It also serves as the final resting place of America’s 40th President and his First Lady. www.reaganfoundation.org 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

The Institute in Washington, D.C. seeks a full-time Corporate & Foundation Relations Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day relationship management of RRI’s corporate and philanthropic partners. This position will lead engagement with Reagan National Defense Forum and RISE supporters, along with the National Leadership Council and all other RRI funders.

The candidate will be expected to perform such specific duties and responsibilities as are related to this position below and any additional duties hereafter assigned:

  • Develop and oversee partnership database ensuring pledge agreement promises are captured, contacts are up to date, and engagement touchpoints are outlined and tracked.
  • Oversee execution of pledge agreement commitments (dedicated events, roundtable discussions, etc.) in coordination with RRI programs and policy team.
    • With regular reporting to Director of External Relations, Reagan Institute Director and Director of Programs and Operations
  • Serve as primary POC for RRI corporate and foundation partners, engaging in regular stewardship.
  • Lead on event planning and logistical execution of corporate partners/philanthropic events including roundtables, luncheons, dinners, etc.
  • Lead on event planning and logistical execution of the annual National Leadership Council Summit.
  • Execute all partner grant/gift management online portal operations including submissions and compiling all grant/gift reporting as outlined in partnership agreements.
  • Oversight of Salesforce administrative functions executed by colleagues including thank you notes, data entry, etc.
  • Provide executive assistance in scheduling and other administrative functions to Washington Director.
  • Support Director of External Relations on strategic planning, expense reporting, and other special projects as directed.
  • Support programs and events at RRI as directed by Director of Programs and Operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Mandatory COVID-19 vaccination requirement for all staff.
  • Minimum two years successful experience working in an office environment.
  • Proficiency in donor and prospect database management, especially Salesforce or similar system, databases such as Airtables, and other web communication platforms.
  • Detail oriented, good problem-solving skills, with ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience and ability to work independently and collegially in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Uncompromising personal integrity

This is an exempt regular full-time position, located at The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute in Washington, D.C.
