These porcelain accessories were designed by Mottahedeh especiallyh for the diplomatic reception rooms of the Department of State and the White House. These may also be found in many U.S. Embassies around the world. The designs are adapted from Chinese export porecelain, circa 1810, bearing one of the earliest depictions of the American Eagle found in ceramic decoration. 9 1/4" diameter.
