On June 15, 2015, Jeb Bush announced his plans to run for President in the upcoming presidential elections.

He was elected Florida's forty-third governor in 1998 and reelected in 2002, becoming the first Republican to be reelected governor in the state's history.  Prior to that, he helped start a real estate development company that today is one of the largest, full-service commercial real estate companies in South Florida. In 1987-1988, he served as Florida's secretary of commerce and promoted Florida's business climate worldwide. He also founded the Foundation for Florida's Future, a not-for-profit organization to influence public policy at the grassroots level.

The served dinner following the lecture has a Texas flair and includes:

  • Avocado Caesar salad
  • Roasted chicken breast
  • Vegetable enchilada
  • Garlic rice
  • Broiled nopales, zucchini, corn and red peppers
  • Bread basket of corn muffins, Cuban bread and sweet wheat rolls

ABOUT MARK LEVIN AND THE BOOK

Mark Levin has become one of the hottest properties in Talk radio, his top-rated show on WABC New York is now syndicated nationally by Cumulus Media, and can be heard locally on AM870 The Answer. He is also one of the top authors in the conservative political arena.

Mark has been a frequent guest and substitute host on The Sean Hannity Show, and has also been an advisor to Limbaugh, who frequently refers to him on the air with the nickname "F. Lee Levin." He is perhaps more well-known for his nickname, "The Great One," coined by his friend Hannity.

Mark Levin is one of America's preeminent conservative commentators and constitutional lawyers. He served as a top advisor to several members of President Ronald Reagan's Cabinet - including as Chief of Staff to the Attorney General of the United States. In 2001, the American Conservative Union named Levin the recipient of the prestigious Ronald Reagan Award.

In his new book, Plunder and Deceit: Big Government’s Exploitation of Young People and The Future, Mark Levin speaks to all Americans, but particularly the rising generation.  Younger people must find the personal strength and will to break through the cycle of statist manipulation, unrelenting emotional overtures, and the pressure of groupthink, which are humbling, dispiriting, and absorbing them; to stand up against the heavy hand of centralized government, which if left unabated will assuredly condemn them to economic and societal calamity.  Mark Levin calls for a new civil rights movement, one that will foster liberty and prosperity and cease the exploitation of young people by statist masterminds. He challenges the rising generation of younger Americans to awaken to the cause of their own salvation, asking: will you acquiesce to a government that overwhelmingly acts without constitutional foundation—or will you stand in your own defense so that yours and future generations can live in freedom?

A critical, frank, and much-needed touchstone, Exceptional should stand as a guiding principle for the potential presidential candidates in 2016—and for policymakers today and beyond.

Lecture and Book Signing with David Gregory
Monday, September 21, 2015

Lecture: 6:00 p.m.
Book Signing: 7:00 p.m.

Please join us for a lecture and book signing with former NBC newsman and Meet the Press moderator David Gregory on his latest book, How’s Your Faith: An Unlikely Spiritual Journey (Release Date: September 15, 2015). This event is free to attend, however reservations are recommended and books must be purchased at the Reagan Library Museum Store to receive signature. To reserve seats and/or to purchase books, please click here or call 805-522-2977.

While David Gregory was covering the White House, he had the unusual experience of being asked by President George W. Bush “How’s your faith?” In this new book, Mr. Gregory probes various religious traditions to better understand his own faith and answer life’s most important questions: who do we want to be and what do we believe? David’s journey has taken him inside Christian mega-churches and into the heart of Orthodox Judaism. It has brought him back to his childhood, where belief in God might have helped him through his mother’s struggle with alcoholism, and through a difficult period of public scrutiny and his departure from NBC News, which saw his faith tested like never before.
