Mike (Miki) Popik, shares his story of survival and of loss during the Holocaust. Mr. Popik persevered through internments at Auschwitz, Mauthhausen, and Gunskirchen concentration camps and suffered the loss of his entire family while still a teenager. Come hear this inspiring and compelling story and help keep the memory of those lost to Nazi tyranny alive.

On Thursday, February 10, 2016 at 10 AM, the Walter and Leonore Annenberg Presidential Learning Center, in partnership with the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation, will host a panel of Medal of Honor Recipients who will share their stories of courage, commitment and sacrifice with a student audience.
The Medal of Honor Character Development Program is a teaching resource designed by teachers to provide students with opportunities to explore the important concepts of: Courage, Commitment, Sacrifice, Patriotism, Integrity, and Citizenship.
