WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU VISIT

prior to booking your field trip- our program changes slightly from year to year
and we see approximately 25,000 students from all over California each school year.
The Air Force One Discovery Center is a curriculum-based program with pre-visit
requirements. It is FREE of charge to all students and teachers (carefully read
the Chaperone Policy prior
to arriving at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum).
The coordinating teacher determines their school’s arrival and departure times to
the library- make sure to account for travel time and traffic! Unfortunately, late
arrivals cannot make up the activities they miss due to tardiness.
The ideal amount of time for a field trip is 4 hours as the day includes: the Discovery
Center classroom activity and simulation, lunch, a docent-led tour of the museum,
memorial site, Berlin Wall, and Air Force One.
Reservations for the 2014-2015 school year are closed.

your parameters you will be notified immediately by phone and/or email. Reservations
for the 2015-2016 school year will be accepted starting December 1, 2014; please
check back then.
Bus Scholarship Information
Due to decreased funds for bus transportation in many districts, the Ronald Reagan
Presidential Foundation grants an allotted amount each year in bus scholarships.
If you are truly a school in need and would like the opportunity to obtain needed
funds, please carefully read, complete, and submit a school bus scholarship application.
