Program: 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Featuring CNN’s Jake Tapper

To honor the men and women who serve in the United States Armed Forces, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library will be hosting its annual Veterans Day Event on Monday, November 11. The day’s activities include live musical entertainment, a civil war encampment, a military vehicle display and a program honoring all branches of our military.

The program, which begins at 10:00 a.m., includes remarks by Vietnam Veteran Tom Reilly and a keynote address by CNN anchor and Chief Washington Correspondent Jake Tapper, whose one-hour weekday program The Lead with Jake Tapper debuted in March 2013. Previously, Mr. Tapper worked at ABC News as senior White House Correspondent. Following the program, Mr. Tapper will sign copies of his New York Times best-selling book, The Outpost: An Untold Story of American Valor.

All Veterans Day activities are free for the public to attend; regular Museum admission rates apply to visit the exhibits, including SPY: The Secret World of Espionage. Veterans with valid ID will receive free admission to the Museum on November 11. Active military members with valid ID are always free.
