We must navigate through this period of transition and realignment, and we must face up to the realities and challenges that our defense enterprise confronts today…so we will be ready for the challenges of the future. If there was one legacy of Ronald Reagan, it is that legacy.” – Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, during remarks at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, November 15, 2014
